Inner Landscape

Ilda Pupa

This exhibition examines the expression of beauty, fragility and vulnerability of our environment. The young artists, Ilda Pupa offers a powerful personal visage as a metaphor for the cycle of life. We can realize in her artworks that human figure it’s not the superior subject as we think of it in our minds, Nature is. She has managed to develop research around nature, motifs and dreams.
Vibrant surface and entangled thoughts as tree branches welcome us in an imaginary landscape. An inner landscape of the artist. They appear as an invitation to connect individual emotions with collective emotions. Nature plays an important role in her paintings. Her works evokes searching and metaphors for attempting to remind us the perilous threat to nature.
Technically her paintings are characterized by lines and powerful, lively colors. Colorful abstraction formed by pieces borrowed from nature and the unconscious. Flowers are often seen in her artworks. Flowers are often seen as symbols of joy and pleasure. However, different types and colors of flowers bring unique meanings. Some flowers are seen as symbols of friendship and purity, while others are tied to forgiveness and death. Her paintings communicate emotions that continuously affect our daily lives. In most of her paintings Ilda Pupa seems to have reached her aim.

MEET SOME OF THE ARTISTS

Albi Yzo

To create in our contemporary era, it is in my opinion, to be committed to choosing different forms of expression while preserving the essence of ourselves, so that this energy is distributed in the time and space in which we live

Art, for me, is the ability of the mind to produce works, which society will put in function of its aesthetic and cultural improvement. My work clearly shows my interest in beauty, my ontological search for innovation, undeniable heterogeneity, love for man that he is sublime.

The balance and harmony between them constitute what can be special about my work.

Hert’ha Pataj

My name is Hert’ha Pataj, I was born in May 6, 2001 in Tirana. At an early age i took interest on art and persuid it on my own. I finished high school at “Petro Nini Luarasi” and currently I study in Faculty of Applied Science and Economy, in the Art & Design Departement. I am doing an intership at a marketing company for design and advertisement and also i work online from time to time also as a designer.

My objective was architecture for a long time until i got myself more involved with art, which made my objective change to Art & Design. A lot of my art is influenced by a lot of artist, painters, graphists from different eras and also from music, which is where i find myself the most inspired, espacially in what concept I will base what I am going to create on.

Kristian Zara

In my artistic research, the combination of activities along with spiritual manifestation of psyche are already an important part of my studies as an artist. I use the human figure through which I can express all the artistic, philosophical observations that stem from an uninterrupted process of meditation and analysis.

Observing the interaction between the inner and outer world, man and society, nature and humanity, I often happens to immerse myself in a conversation with the former unknown.

Despite the fact that I use someone else’s image, the unknown self is a part of myself which in turn becomes the self-subject (subject) and object to be observed and developed conceptually.

Enea Ziu

In a society where man is living more within his mind, or virtual world, I want to put apparently the importance of social and family relationships, relationships with the space where we live and the objects that surround us. Painting for me is the perpetuation of a moment, be it and ordinary, real or imaginary. Spontaneous moments from everyday life occupy a part of important in my creativity. These moments not only reveal my feelings and perceptions on reality but also reveal the process of creation itself.

MIMESIS – Exhibition by Frederic Beaugeard 17 january

Dear Friends,

MIMESIS is the name of a exhibition that we will welcome, starting from the 17th of January, in the space of Tirana Ekspres.

The creator of the shown works is Frederic Beaugeard, a french teacher and artist living in Albania: “This exhibit shows ligne claire graphic novel style drawings with collages depicting some Asian features. Each composition is an independent image from a surrealistic inspiration, and part of a not yet written story in perpetual process by automatic drawing technique.
It is, in fact, the spiritual quest of a generic character with a bowler hat lost in a delirious world, where he has to confront as much his own phantasms as those of an enigmatic power. Leaving a city, he will cross deserts, jungles and limbos, climb mountains or fly; travel through past and science-fiction, and even his own story. It’s an intuitive production before
acknowledging the philosophical theory of consciousness of J-W Dunne and A. Huxley. This
exhibit is from an exclusively playful personal work starting twenty years ago, which only came to light in Korea in 2002, in Kuwait in 2006, and later in 2011 in Illinois, USA.” – Frederic Beaugeard.
