About the author

Avni (Xh) Behluli was born on 17.10.1960 in Breznica, Bujanovac Municipality. In 1986 he graduated from the Academy of Arts in Prishtina, in Sculpture in the class of Prof. Agim Qavderbasha. In 1987 he became a member of the Kosovo Association of Fine Artists and a year later he received his master's degree in the same professor's class. In 1998, together with N. Berisha, they founded the non-public High School (Vocational School of Fine Arts). In 2007 he was elected president of the Association of Fine Artists of Gjilan. He is one of the founders of the public High School of Visual Arts "Adem Kastrati" in Gjilan, and in 2011 he was appointed coordinator of this school where a year later, he was elected first Director by competition. His works are now found in museums, various galleries: Pristina, Tirana, Split, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Canada, Italy, Macedonia, Egypt, Slovakia, Sudan, Korea, etc .. He is now a teacher at the "Adem Kastrat" school in Gjilan, lives and works in Gjilan.
