Endri Myrtaj was born in October 1984 in the city of Gjirokaster. In 2004 he moved with his family to Tirana, to pursue his studies in architecture at the Polytechnic University of Tirana. Later, as a self-taught painter he begins to create some artworks, initially in the technique of pencil drawing and later oil paintings.
After several years of working and pursuing his passion for painting he achieved to open several personal exhibitions.
Among them we can mention:
1. Personal exhibition at the National Historical Museum in Tirana, in 2015, with selected artworks by Prof. Gazmend Leka.
2. Personal exhibition at the Tirana Express (The alternative art
space of Tirana) with the theme being its birth city Gjirokaster.
3. Exhibition "Fall", at Destil Creative Hub.
4. Participant in the exhibition “Tirana e Artit të 3 Karantinave në 100 vjet”, (Tirana of the Art of 3 quarantines in 100 years), etc.
He is currently pursuing a masters degree in Monumental Painting at the University of Arts in Tirana.
