“Her Energy”

"Her Energy" is the title of the exhibition that opened on Friday, April 7 at the Galeria, at 18:00. About 20 paintings were presented there, mainly with the Acrylic on Canvas technique. The public participating in the opening of this exhibition got to know more closely the paintings of the artist Kristina Shkurti.

The exhibition highlighted the female figure for its beauty, character, energy and spirit. Kristina brought, through her brushes, vibrant colors and strong contrasts which for her have flowed naturally in her creativity. The dynamic compositions of the subjects come often and like a dream that attracts you to be part of it. She said that she often finds inspiration in her unconscious which floats on the canvas together with the colors.

"As human beings, we have 2 types of energy within us, female and male, regardless of gender.
And each nature is represented by different opposite characteristics.
These energies must be in harmony and must not dominate one another.
The rhythms of modern life have become very fast in recent years. A trend has been created for it
possessing as many material things and power as possible.
Every day, women are in a constant struggle to prove that they can get by on their own without any help, that they are equally capable of working, and this is very okay.
But in this daily struggle, without realizing it, they have started to lose their power, their femininity.
And this happens where you are in a survival situation.
My creations with strong colors and contrasts want to convey exactly this.
Don't forget your natural power, your femininity, highlight it, you are more open to receiving help.
Be like soft water, not like hard rock."

Kristina Shkurti

The exhibition remained open until April 10 from 10:00 to 19:00.
