Culture of Humiliation

During 15-19 May, 2019 at Tirana Ekspres, 07:00- 23:30, an activity of the exhibition “CULTURE OF HUMILIATION” from ANTONIJ KARADZOSKI, during the Artivism Awareness Campaign on Bullying and Cyberbullying, based on sexual orientation and gender identity, inspired by the personal story of the artist as gay in a small and conservatory place like Republic of North Macedonia. Antonij faced a lot of bullying, cyber-bullying, discrimination, homophobia at young age and growing up. He escaped his native country to live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and he is focused on making a difference in the world through the method of Artivism and his main focus is the LGBT community in “difficult” countries like the Balkan Region, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Palestine and many more.

The exhibition “Culture of Humiliation” in Tirana is curated by Blerina Berberi, and joins the activities organized during the IDAHOT 2019 week (International Day Against Homophonia and Transphobia) in Albania.
