Soiree Quebecoise – 27 Mars

Posted in Kryesore, Kultura on 25 March 2015 by Tirana Ekspres

This is an English for “Attache ta tuque!” Une tuque (a hat) keeps us warm during the -20/-40 C winters of Québec and the rest of Canada. The word “tuque” is especially used in other, metaphoric expressions as well. The expression “attache ta tuque!” is translated directly as “tie your hat!”, and means that one should get ready… well, for anything!

Discovering the culture of QUEBEC. Join us at ‘Tirana Ekspres’ on Friday, the 27th of March at 8pm, for an amusing night involving lively discussions, Québécoise music, and maple syrup! Everyone is welcome!

The pics below are presenting Canada and Quebec flags, ‘Golden Autumn’ in gorgeous Montreal, winter pastime.
